Senior Citizen Card

The Ladakh Senior Citizen Card shall provide senior citizens of Ladakh with a formal identification card that makes them eligible for benefits and privileges covered under by schemes for senior citizens by various departments. The Card shall be issued to people of Ladakh aged 60 and older as part of welfare measures for the senior sections of society. It shall be a proof of the bearer’s identity or status, enabling them to access benefits under schemes and programmes of Government of India and Administration of UT Ladakh.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 1. The applicant must be 60 years of age or above.
  • 2. The applicant must possess the Ladakh Resident Certificate.

    • Documents Required:

  • Along with the Application form, the applicant needs to attach the following documents:
  • 1. Age Proof (any of – Birth certificate, PAN Card, Voter Id).
  • 2. Residence Proof (Ladakh Residence Certificate).
  • 3. Address Proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card, Ration Card)
  • 4. Photographs.
